Skippings says authorities are still trying to wrap their heads around this incident and added, "We don't know the age of the mother at this particular time. We haven't been able to speak with her yet, and so we're not sure of what her mental condition may be like at this time."She further added that it is an issue which caused a frenzy in the public domain and also sparked concerns from police officials as it related to residents well being.
The police official also noted that they have reached the point where they are truly concerned about everyone in society, especially family members, and added that they don't know what people are going through and things can trigger off.
Meanwhile, the incident has also been condemned by several people who took to Facebook to urge the authorities to conduct a proper investigation into the incident.
"I cannot understand why these murderers bring children into this world if they don't want I pray that they find that murderer and prosecute her to the full extent of the law," wrote a user named Arthur while another user said, "Was it a fetus or a full developed baby? This is heartbreaking!! Whoever the mother is should have carried him/ her to the nearest hospital."Latest
