Saint Lucia: Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ernest Hilaire had an insightful discussion with the Bluemina Citizenship & Residency related to the most important updates on Saint Lucia's alternative citizenship investment programme.

He talked about the robust due diligence procedures undertaken while going through an application process and the various benefits of the overall programme.

During the exclusive interview, Hilaire noted that Saint Lucia is a small island paradise and island of extraordinary beauty but even more importantly, the people on the island are very hospitable, warm and welcoming.

He also talked about the society and said that Saint Lucia is a Creole society and the island boasts a mix of French and English.

"I think what really would attract somebody who has become a citizen of Saint Lucia is the way in which you will be welcomed when you travel to Saint Lucia. It's our nature to always be welcoming, to always treat everyone as a special guest within our space," he added.

"So whereas government struggles to get loans, at high interest rates, your full citizenship by investment program, our bond option, we can raise financing at 0% interest, but we can also increase our revenue intake by leveraging our citizenship," he outlined.

This makes the Citizenship by Investment Programme as offering those opportunities for the government to bring in new skills, talents, individuals who become citizens of Saint Lucia and have special talents in different fields.

Also, the infrastructure of Saint Lucia including the roads, bridges, housing are bring developed by the funds generated by the CBI Programme.
