Dominica's Ministers to host family fun day for Father's Day on June 16

Dominica: Minister of Housing Melissa Poponne Skerrit and Minister of Finance Dr Irving McIntyre have collaborated to host Family Fun Day on the occasion of Father's Day. The leaders are inviting the constituents of Roseau Central and Roseau Valley and join and be part of the huge celebration. According to the information, the event will take place on Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 4 pm onwards at La Promenade and will comprise of exciting games, a lot of food and thrilling music. The evening will be perfect for children and adults alike as it will feature dominoes, table tennis, cornhole, chess, bobbing for apples, and much more.

While inviting everyone to be part of the event, Melissa Skerrit noted, "Father's Day is coming soon!!! They are the foundation of our families, and we honour them always! Come celebrate our fathers with us!! Eating competitions, games, bouncy castles for the kids, music, and so much more!! See you there!"

The Ministers collaborated to host this exciting event in order to celebrate the fathers who work tirelessly day and night to provide their families with every little thing.

Not only this, but also Minister McIntyre is also hosting the 2nd annual RVC Man vs. Broth Cooking Competition on Saturday, June 15, 2024. This event will take place at Food Canie from 6 pm onwards while entertainment will be provided by DJ Fire. This event will feature entertainment, surprise guests, exciting games, and much more.

The Minister extended an invitation to all the families to be part of this exciting event and asked the children to celebrate their fathers by bringing them to this event.

"Greetings all! We are excited to bring to you our much anticipated Man vs Broth competition! This year we have special guests Team Roseau Central joining us as we battle for the King of the Broth title!! Saturday June 15 from 6pm sharp! Come support your teams and have some fun! See you there," said the Minister.

This event will be perfect for families and will provide them with a chance to participate in an exciting and healthy competition in Dominica.
