St. Kitts and Nevis: The annual Child Month Parade and the Fun Fair for children is all set to be held in the country on June 14, 2024 (Friday) at the Old Hospital Road at E.T.W Park. The parade will begin from the Old Hospital Road at 9:00 am and will make its way through Charlestown. And, having been gone through this route, the parade will finally end at the E.T.W. park, Nevis for the fun fair. The Ministry of Education of Nevis is taking forward this strong initiative with an aim to provide a cheerful time to the children of the nation. “Children will be treated to bouncing castles, games and fun learning activities,” mentioned the Education Ministry. At the parade, there will be refreshments for sale and interestingly, limited t-shirts as well will be available for sale at the department. The entertainment is free at the event that will include; bouncing castles, games and rides, fun and learning activities and much more. Moreover, the fundraisers under this mentioned are as follows-

Face Painting at $1
Lucky Dip at $1

The refreshments which are for the sale at the event include-

Hotdogs at $5
Cookup at $12
Fried Chicken
Popcorn at $3
Icepops at $2, and
Beverages

Considerably, there is special lunch for children as well at just $8 which includes one hotdog and 1 drink. With all the special offering to the children at the event states of the great fun that will bring joy to their lives with several of the activities being undertaken for the children. This year, Child Month is being celebrated under the theme, “Embrace Inclusion: Every Child Counts.” Such a theme decided for the child month reminds of the child’s uniqueness and varying talent and abilities. Certain of the activities under this will be taken forward throughout the June Month and this is one of its part.
