Bird International Airport as the US market continues to show the most expansion.Meanwhile, the CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, Colin C James also expressed his satisfaction with this new service.
He highlighted that the launch of the Delta Service from the large JFK hub is a significant development for the destination. James further noted that the New York tri-state area is the strongest catchment area within the US market and with Delta now operating from there, the travellers are getting another option to easily travel to Antigua and Barbuda during the peak winter season.
Antigua and Barbuda, known for its 365 beaches, all inclusive resorts as well as world class snorkelling is set to welcome travellers with open arms once again. This development also showcases the revival of a beloved route which was famous before the pandemic disrupted travel plans across the world.
