Antigua and Barbuda: People of Antigua and Barbuda calls the government to implement the sexual offenses registry to protect the children. Such a demand by the public is of great significance as the safety of the children can not be left behind. For the sake of the safety of children, it is necessary to take significant steps to foster the safety in the region. The demand for the sexual offenses registry is completely justified as it would make a great difference in the country’s overall state in terms of security.  Such an initiative if taken by the government would bolster the measures to safeguard the innocence of the youth. With the implementation of such a law, the risk factor in the country as well will be reduced.  It has been mentioned that everyday without the implementation of the sexual offenses registry is another day where the predators roam freely. And, their evil intentions can pose harm to the children which would lead towards an increase in the exposure of children’s vulnerability. Even the public has highlighted that implementing such a registry is not a luxury, however is a necessity. Such would empower parents, communities and the law enforcement to identify and monitor the individuals who pose a threat to the children. Reinforcing such a law would act as a shield for safeguarding the youth and the children from all the sexual crimes. And, this would offer long term benefits to the country, Antigua and Barbuda as children are considered as the future of the nation. Being part of the secure place would encourage them to develop and grow by initiating any work at any time without any fear. Such a fact would lead towards their holistic development, bringing a sense of confidence and boldness in them. Implementing the Sexual Offenses Registry is not just a matter of policy, however is a moral imperative.
