Roseau, Dominica: The opposition political party of Dominica, United Workers Party (UWP), is highly involved in the campaign to defame the nation and be a major barrier in the overall development and its national economy.  According to the reports, UWP is consistently making baseless allegations against the government and various infrastructural projects in Dominica. The party leader Thompson Fontaine and former leader Lennox Linton are collaboratively making attempts to sabotage the development.  When the UWP failed to find any loopholes in any other developmental projects ongoing in Dominica, they are now coming to attack the international airport, causing a significant turmoil in the country. The economic analysts are saying that if the opposition succeeds in halting the development this time, it would be the last thing to happen in Dominica and will turn out to be worse than Hurricane Maria or Tropical Storm Erica.  It is also being claimed by the analysts that the impact on the national economy this time is said to be equal to a nuclear bomb and will shatter the hopes and dreams of hundreds and thousands of Dominicans. As the UWP continues to make various conspiracies against the government, it is to be noted that their claims have always turned out to be hollow as they have always failed to present even single evidence against their allegations. Meanwhile, the United Workers Party which themselves have no vision were also reported to be involved in a baseless report of OCCRP which pointed fingers towards the Citizenship by Investment Programme of Dominica. After the release of the report, it was found that some of the OCCRP members had links with Lennox Linton, clearly showing his evil motives against the country and the development. Also, one of the leading news providers in the world, Al Jazeera exposed Linton of being involved in money laundering. The news provider showed documents having signature of Linton on them with the document promising a diplomatic passport to a businessman in exchange of huge funds.  As the party itself is lethargic, it encourages Dominicans to be the same. Earlier this year, the UWP launched a campaign named Do Nothing aiming to motivate citizens to refrain from doing any work for an entire week. This campaign garnered huge criticism from the citizens with the UWP once again proving that it is not interested in the development of the country or its people.
