Saint Lucia: Dr. Hilaire unveils participants of this year's Miss Ciceron pageant
Minister Hilaire extended his considerable congratulations to the females and said that they will be bringing pride to the nation with their participation in this prestigious pageant. The event will take place on June 22, 2024, at the Ciceron Secondary School in Saint Lucia.

The contestants for this year's Miss Ciceron 2024 pageant are as follows:
1. Lexy Rosemond - Miss Ciceron Central2. Akella Moore - Miss Fire House 3. Sydney James - Miss La Cou-Doye4. Faith Edward - Miss WASCO Lane5. Kayde Altanor - Miss Monkey Town6. Elva Alfred - Miss Monkey TownDuring the sashing ceremony, Minister Hilaire said that the country has seen the numbers grow, and the support for the event and the Ciceron carnival has also grown significantly."When we first started in 2017, we wanted an activity that would focus on young mothers in the community for them to really showcase the talent that they have and what it is they all about and of course it expanded for us to focus on the community and to show that Ciceron is a place to which Saint Lucians can come and discover new things."He also recalled that the turnout for the first pageant was very minimal, while last year, the team did not have enough space for all the persons who wanted to come to the pageant. Tourism Minister added, "So we have seen the growth and evolution, and I'm really thankful for everyone who has worked over the years to make this a success."Dr. Ernest Hilaire also called upon the residents and citizens to come on June 22 to celebrate the young ladies of Ciceron and witness the magnificent show that will be hosted by the Castries South Constituency Group committee.Author Profile
