The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority announced the development through its official Facebook page and said that they are thrilled to announce the expansion of American Airlines’ service. The Authority noted that with a rising demand for travel to the island nation, the airline will reintroduce nonstop Saturday-only service from the John F Kennedy Airport to Hewanorra International Airport. The service is anticipated to offer travelers enhanced flexibility and convenience during Saint Lucia’s peak winter tourism season. The Minister of Tourism of Saint Lucia, Dr. Ernest Hilaire, also expressed pride over the reintroduction of the services and said that the country is thrilled to welcome the expanded service, which will provide more opportunities for travelers to immerse themselves in the breathtaking views of Saint Lucia. He further noted that the reintroduction of services will perfectly complement the significant room renovations already completed and new ones that will soon be available to accommodate visitors.
