Trump and Musk put aside differences at Memorial for Conservative Activist Charlie Kirk
During the service, Trump described Kirk as "a giant of his generation" and praised his unwavering commitment to conservative values.

Glendale, United States: President Donald Trump and Elon Musk put aside their differences and sat together at a memorial service for conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Glendale, Arizona, on Sunday, September 20, 2025 who was shot during the event at Utah university campus, on September 10.
Donald Trump also called him "a giant of his generation" and praised his devotion for freedom, justice, and country while paying him a tribute.
It is being said that both had a public falling out earlier this year when Elon Musk called Trump's flagship tax and spending bill, "utterly insane and destructive". He also criticized the tax and spending bill while giving the warning to the public that it would worsen the national deficit.
After getting criticized, Trump decided to defend himself and the bill, by highlighting the tax relief provisions for many people. Further the disagreement escalated, when Musk announced that he is going to launch his own "America First" party, although little has materialized so far.
But after all the dark past they were seen shaking hands with each other and chit chatting during the whole memorial service in a video which was posted by the official white house account on social media platform X.
According to the reports posted on a social media platform, it was seen that both Trump and Elon chatted in a manner in which they looked very close and friendly at the memorial service for Charlie Kirk, at which thousands of people including the prominent conservative figures and members of Trump's cabinet were present to pay their tribute to the deceased.
Despite the recent clash between Musk and Trump, Musk was present at the memorial service of the right wing of Trump ‘Kirk’. Also, he had previously donated over $270 million to the Trump's presidential campaign and barnstormed key battleground states for the Republican.
Also a lip reader tried to read the moving lips of the two and after examining it a lip reader revealed that Trump said "How are you doing?" to Musk, and then he further added, that "Let's try and work out how to get back on track." With that Musk also nodded in response, while Trump shook his hand, seemingly saying, "I've missed you."
The community of America are expressing their happiness and joy while reacting in a positive manner to their reunion. While some people are saying that it is a step towards the unity of them for the betterment of the nation.
Communities are also praising Musk's talent and his potential impact on the Republican Party and along with that one of the users commented, that "I'm glad to see that Trump and Elon are mending relations. The world is better off when Trump and Elon work together.”
