St Lucia: PM Allen Chastanet had concerns before taking vaccine

Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet stated that he had his concerns before taking the coronavirus vaccine.

Castries, St Lucia: Prime Minister of St Lucia Allen Chastanet stated that he had his concerns before taking the coronavirus vaccine; however, after carrying out research, his perspective changed.  Encouraging St Lucians to take coronavirus vaccine, Prime Minister stated that vaccine is the most effective action that could be taken to get the lives back to some level of normalcy. He stated that his concerns on the COVID-19 vaccine changed when he discussed the issue with medical professionals and got clarity.  "Being a responsible son, father, husband and leader, I did the right thing and got vaccinated. Getting vaccinated is currently the most effective action that we can take to get our lives back to some level of normalcy and back to doing some of the things that we miss so much." stated the St Lucian Prime Minister. PM Chastanet received the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday. Furthermore, Prime Minister stated that the vaccine is being administered at five different locations across the country where people can receive their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
