Jamaica: Teacher found dead inside home in Westmoreland

Jamaica: A 39-year-old man was found dead inside his home in Pitkin in Bluefields, Westmoreland, on Sunday afternoon. The victim has been identified as Andre James, who was a teacher at Little London Primary School.

According to the Jamaica Constabulary Force, the police responded to a murder complaint at about 4:00 pm. After reaching the scene, they found James sitting in a chair in one of the rooms. He had multiple stab wounds to his chest, with other injuries to his neck and head.

A pair of scissors was also retrieved by the police from the crime scene, which will be further examined for any evidence. They believe that the scissors is the murder weapon used to stab the victim in the brutal assault.

The investigators are still working to determine the circumstances surrounding the murder. As of now, no known motive for the killing has been reported by the authorities. Also, no suspect yet identified in connection with the crime.

The news of the murder has shocked the local community as James was working as a primary school teacher in the area. One individual said, “Help all in the teaching community dis one will affect us as a community. My condolences to his family and relatives that are left to mourn the loss of this handsome fellow.”

Another person commented, “Check out his friends or any other company he kept. The police should look into who was in his circle of friends and see if any of them have info on what happened to him.”
