St. Kitts and Nevis PM Drew congratulates Indian PM Modi on historic win in elections
In a tweet earlier on Friday, Drew wished Modi continued success in guiding India toward prosperity and greatness with compassion and wisdom.


Prime Minister Drew further lauded PM Modi’s party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for this huge achievement in securing the largest number of seats across the country.
As India and St. Kitts and Nevis has shared good relations over the years, both the leaders are looking forward to strengthening these relations in various fields.The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis and India’s diplomatic relations have been significantly bolstered by India’s promising and continuous engagement with CARICOM.
While emphasising the significance of the diplomatic relations built between both the countries, PM Dr. Terrance Drew in his congratulatory letter emphasised the several areas of collaboration over the years across various spheres including education, capacity building, diplomacy, agriculture, information technology and healthcare.He noted that the government is anticipating deepened collaborations with the Republic of India while fostering the ongoing fortification of their diplomatic ties. Dr. Drew has always held deep respect towards India, why is why he also engages with the Indian community living in the Federation at various times, showing his generosity towards them.
It is to be noted that several Indian are working on different infrastructural projects across St Kitts and Nevis while many Kittitians and Nevisians students are getting their education in India.
