Dominica all set to host Hike Fest 2024 from May 4

The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association is all set to host the Hike Fest 2024 in the month of May under the theme, 'Nature is Calling'. This exciting hike fest will let the visitors embark on an exciting adventures on this tiny nature island.As per the information, the Hike Fest will be observed in May on the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th at the famous Waitukubuli National Trail, with some unique experiences. The Waitukubuli National Trail is one of Dominica's developed Caribbean’s first long-distance walking trails. The trail opens up and showcases the best of the Island's culture/heritage, local lifestyles, and the Island's Rugged terrain and wild nature - rivers, waterfalls, mountains, gorges, and rainforests. The Waitukubuli National Trail is controlled by the Trail Management Unit of the Forestry, Wildlife and Parks Division, Ministry of Environment, Climate Resilience, Disaster Management & Urban Renewal. It is supported by the Waitukubuli Ecological Foundation, financial support from the European Union, the Regional Council of Martinique and the Government of Dominica.This incredible hiking adventure in 2024 will bring visitors of all ages to feel the essence of Dominica's breathtaking mountain peaks, along with Dominica's most iconic Hiking trails led by one of the best and certified guides.
