The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that took place in the West Indies in months of January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part. It was 14th edition of the Under-19 World Cup and the first that was held in the West Indies.

In March 2021, Cricket West Indies has ensured that the format would be similar as previous editions, with teams competing against each other to progress to the Plate and Super Leagues phases of the tournament.

In November 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the complete schedule for the tournament, with matches to be played in Antigua, Guyana, St Kitts & Trinidad and also confirmed about the final to be played in Sir Vivian Richards in Antigua.

Meanwhile, New Zealand made a decision to withdraw from the tournament due to the extensive compulsory quarantine restrictions for minors on their return home, with Scotland named as their replacement.

At the same time, India registered its victory by beating England by four wickets to win their fifth ICC Under-19 Men's Cricket World Cup in the West Indies.

The two of the strong teams met at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Ground in Antigua and Barbuda as England went in search of their second title, but India took over the opportunity by setting up record of most tournament wins.
