Belize: Major fire damages house in Trial Farm, Orange Walk

Belize: A major fire broke out at a residence located on the road to San Lorenzo in the Trial Farm area of Orange Walk Town on Sunday afternoon.

The firefighters rushed to control the raging fire that had caused damage to the structure. The blaze quickly engulfed the house, with massive flames and thick smoke seen coming from the property.

The fire was brought under control before any more damage was caused. There are no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. It is also not known whether anyone was inside the residence when the fire started. Authorities are expected to assess the area as they work to identify what may have caused the fire.

A video of the house that has been completely engulfed in fire is being spread on social media. It shows a wooden house in flames and almost destroyed due to the blaze. The firefighters were seen arriving at the scene and trying to control the fire.

One individual commented, “Its sad. Hopefully no one was badly injured. Also praying it was an accident and not intentional arson targeting someone.”

People are also praising the firefighters for quickly stopping the fire from spreading. One of the locals said, “Great job to all firefighters i know it’s not easy working these job but i know everytime you step out god is with you all . And to business owners it’s so sad to you goes through these difficult hard times too. You will be up back . God is with you all.”
