Denzil Douglas sends condolences to Hubert Hughes' family
Leader of the Opposition and Leader of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Dr Denzil Douglas expressed condolences to the family and friends of the late retired Chief Minister of Anguilla Hubert Benjamin Hughes.

SKNLP leader stated that Hubert Benjamin would also be remembered for his significant contributions to the growth of the OECS and the advancement of the peoples of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
"I will remember the Comrade Chief Minister as an enormously driven leader with the capacity to recall for hours unending the political history and struggles of the people of Anguilla and of St Kitts and Nevis, under British colonial rule," stated Dr Douglas.Furthermore, on behalf of the SKNLP, Dr Douglas extended profound condolences to Hubert's wife and family members at home and abroad and the people of Anguilla.
Former Chief Minister of Anguilla, Hubert Benjamin Hughes passed at the age of 87 on Friday.
