St Vincent and the Grenadines experiences surge in airline bookings ahead of Vincy Mas

The festival is just around the corner, and a highlight of the region’s premier festival is the display of gorgeous costumes by the talented Mas Bands. The festival will be held from June 29 to July 10 and will feature a huge number of exciting events and activities.
James gave the statement during a press conference on Wednesday and added that the airline booking was looking quite positive during the summer period with one carrier already showing a whopping 75 percent load factor up to the end of August.
The Minister noted that there is something special happening in the Canadian market and if Air Canada had access to more plans they would be surely doubling their flights out of the Toronto Pearson International Airport to Argyle International Airport.He also mentioned that the fights at the start and the week after the carnival season already have a capacity of 99.4 percent in Toronto. Minister James said that he is predicting a spike in bookings from New York and Miami, with an average booking already being at 75 percent from the North American carriers.
In addition to this, James said that his team is seeing a considerable growth and they are anticipating a similar increase during the winter season.While giving the statement, the Minister looked very positive about the improved air access across the region and noted that this is a work in progress among the international carriers and the respective Caribbean governments.
