Barbados Boardwalk & Sailing Event to take center stage this Saturday
Entry to this event is free of cost and will feature live performances. Throughout the event, entertainment will be provided by Deejay Music, while drink specials will be provided by Mount Gay.

The Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc is all set to host the Barbados Boardwalk & Sailing Event on Saturday, January 20, 2024. The event will be held on the Boardwalk at Blakey's Bar and Grill from 1 pm to 4 pm.
This event is the newest addition to the annual Sailing Week in Barbados. Participants can enter the event free of cost and will feature live performances.Throughout the event, entertainment will be provided by Deejay Music, while drink specials will be provided by Mount Gay.
Also, the food and drinks will be on sale at Blakey's, with live viewing of coastal races and much more.
The BTMI Inc. invited all the citizens and residents of Barbados to join for the ultimate event and said, "Join us at Blakey's on the Boardwalk and witness the Barbados Sailing Week competitors skillfully navigate the near-shore marker, and enjoy the lively atmosphere with live music and entertainment, with food and drinks available for purchase." The Barbados Cruising Club, in partnership with the BTMI, will host participants and spectators from across the world for a sailing extravaganza celebrating the vibrant culture and warm hospitality of Barbados.
At the official launch of the Sailing Week, Manager Sports of BTMI, Kamal Springer, said that the development of sporting events was a key pillar in enhancing the tourism product of Barbados.
At that time, also he revealed that the BTMI would be hosting a new event on January 20 on the Boardwalk Hastings, "The Visit Barbados Sailing and Boardwalk Experience", featuring activities and entertainment and allowing spectators a view of coastal races.
It is anticipated that the event will attract a number of visitors and will be beneficial for the tourism sector as a whole. The participants will also be engaging in an exciting competition, giving the spectators a wonderful time on Saturday.
