PM Drew joins residents at Easter Egg Hunt, celebrates Good Friday

The Prime Minister also lauded the Minister of Tourism Marsha Henderson for hosting the fantastic event on the eve of Good Friday.
While sharing the glimpses, PM Drew said, “Today, on this Good Friday, I felt so good to be among my Labour people and the good people of Constituency #2 at their Easter egg hunt. Well done to Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, the children had a wonderful time!”As PM Drew shared glimpses of him meeting with children, various citizens and residents lauded him for his exceptional gesture.“Prime Minister/Sir. Parliamentarian Ministers under your leadership are holding their own, even children are feeling the vibes from their promises and efforts. I am awaiting the next surprise that is likely to follow in your administration with the portfolio position title Minister of Happiness,” wrote a user named Livingstone Buchanan while another user quoted, “Better with Labour.”Meanwhile, Easter was celebrated across St Kitts and Nevis with numerous events and activities at different locations. This auspicious occasion is being enjoyed by the residents from Friday to Sunday i.e. March 29 to 31 with several activities.Most of the activities include the egg hunt for children along with live entertainment and number of foods and drinks.
The events are being enjoyed by people of all ages who are utilising this weekend to spend a good time with friends and family members.
On the other hand, other leaders of St Kitts and Nevis also took to Facebook to wish the citizens on this special day.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas said, “A reminder on this Good Friday, that gratification and success often come through great personal sacrifices, determination, perseverance and endurance.”
Minister of Agriculture and Sports, Samal Duggins hosted the Agri Easter Night Market which turned out to be a huge success. The event attracted a number of visitors and was held on Thursday to ease the consumers get things on discounted prices amid festival season.
