InterCaribbean Airways to launch first nonstop service between Barbados and Jamaica
Operated by the airline's CRJ700 Jet aircraft, this route will be the only nonstop service between the two destinations.

InterCaribbean Airways announced the upcoming launch of its new nonstop flight service between Bridgetown, Barbados, and Kingston, Jamaica.
Operated by the airline's CRJ700 Jet aircraft, this route will be the only nonstop service between the two destinations.This significant development for Caribbean regional travel will commence on February 6, 2024, and will mark a new chapter in connecting two major destinations in the Caribbean.
While announcing the development through their official X account, the airline company said, "New Route Alert! We are excited to launch a new nonstop flight between Barbados and Kingston, three days a week beginning February 6."

Bridgetown, Barbados, is the Southern Caribbean hub for the airline, and it will see flights to Kingston on Mondays, Wednesdays as well as Fridays. Meanwhile, the return flights will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.This is the newest addition of service, and travellers can connect easily from Grenada, Saint Lucia, Dominica, Antigua, St Vincent and the Grenadines and Georgetown via Barbados with interCaribbean Airways.
While announcing this new service between Barbados and Jamaica, the CEO of interCaribbean, Trevor Sadler said that the company was proud to introduce this service, which is a direct response to the growing requirement for improved travel connectivity in the Caribbean region.He also added that this new route will enhance both business travel and tourism and will connect two vibrant cities.
According to Sadler, this new service also introduces one-stop connections for travellers which will be very convenient for them. Travellers from souther destinations of Caribbean can take benefit of this new service.
These connections will enhance the travel experience significantly for passengers and will provide more efficient as well as streamlines travel options within the region.

According to the company, passengers can fly fast with their regional jets and avoid layovers and long transfers while experiencing both islands hassle-free.
With the launch of this new service between Bridgetown and Kingston from February 6, interCaribbean is expanding its network and becoming a major player in the Caribbean.
