Ricky Ponting breaks into tears while bidding farewell to Australian cricketer Shane Warne

The world was left shaken in shock on the sudden demise of much-respected and renowned Australian cricketer - Shane Keith Warne, who is known among the greatest bowlers in cricket history. Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting break down into tears while paying tribute to his former teammate and friend, Warne. Warne lost his life to a heart attack on March 4, 2022. Ponting expressed his emotions over the demise of his co-player and friend, saying that he still is in shock after hearing the tragic news. He said it was hard to swallow the news that Warne is no more. The cricketer then remembered and narrated the fun-loving moments with Warne. He said, "I was shocked, I think like probably the rest of the world. I mean, I've got the messages when I woke up this morning." "I went to bed last night of being aware that I had to take my daughters for netball, and then I was confronted with what didn't seem quite real at that time and even now probably doesn't really seem like it's real either, so I've had a few hours now to digest it all and think about how a part of my life he was and reflect on a lot of those memories through the years". Ponting stated Warne as the "most competitive bowler in the game" while recounting him for his legendary bowling. Since hearing the news of Warne's death, numerous international cricketer players and leaders have expressed their condolences to family members as well as the loved ones of the deceased. Meanwhile, Shane Watson tweeted, "I am totally numb!!! My hero, my mentor, my great friend, - Shane Warne, is no longer with us.
