Member of parliament from Vieux-For, St Lucia Dr Kenny D. Anthony, recently condemned the acts of violence occurring in the country, following which Hermangild Francis Minister for Home Affairs tried to clear the air on national radio.Taking a dig at Hemangild Francis, SKNLP's Dr Kenny D. Anthony that he( Francis) is disingenuous and is typical of a failure, of a person who could not meet the expectations of an office gifted to him.

Anthony stated that Hermangild Francis and the UWP government had promised police officers that the fall-out from Impacs Report would disappear within six months in office. He said five years on, the promises have not been completed, stated Anthony.

"Now he must find a scapegoat for misleading the public, members of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force and their families, for his lies and incompetence. Did he not know that when he made his promises to police officers that, to use his own words, "it's not an easy thing to remove the Leahy Law on any country that it has been imposed."?," stated Kenny D. Anthony Former Prime Minister of St Lucia.

Anthony added that Hermangild Francis has been a monumental failure. He referred to him as a "classic example of a square peg" in a round hole. SKNLP's Anothony stated that "this is what happens when, the for political reward, we decorate incompetency and betrayal with ministerial office.”
