The Spirit of Adventure, Saga Cruises' newest boutique ship, arrived in St Kitts for the first time on Tuesday, marking the destination's sixth inaugural stop since the start of the cruise season in November. A plaque exchanging ceremony was held to commemorate the first call between the Ministry of Tourism and the St Kitts Tourism Authority.Spirit of Adventure provides an all-inclusive luxury cruise experience to its customers. The ship was built with discerning passengers in mind, including speciality restaurants, a large selection of all-balcony rooms and suites, and exceptional customer service.Lindsay F.P. Grant, Minister of Tourism, Transport and Ports, remarked, "It is an honour to welcome the captain, crew, and travellers of the Spirit of Adventure on their inaugural call to St. Kitts." "In our marketing efforts to entice visitors to our shores, affluent travellers are an important demographic. The rise of luxury cruise ship calls bodes well for St. Kitts as a safe location with tours and attractions that appeal to discriminating guests looking for genuine Caribbean experiences."Since the official start of the tourist season on November 1, 2021, we've had six initial calls:
- Wednesday, November 10, 2021 – Celebrity Apex
- Aida Perla will perform on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
- Tuesday, November 23, 2021 – Enchanted Princess
- Thursday, November 25, 2021 – Seabourn Ovation
- Saturday, December 11, 2021 – MSC Seaview
- Tuesday, December 21, 2021 – Spirit of Adventure
