Usain Bolt announces birth of his twins on Fathers Day

Everyday Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, announced the birth of twin boys named ThunderBolt and Saint Leo Bolt on Sunday.

The sprinter announced the news on social media with a Father's Day family photo displaying a lightning emoji next to each of his children's names in the title, without mentioning when the twins were born.

Usain Bolt's girlfriend Bennett also posted a recording of the couple posing with twins and daughter Olympia Lightning Bolt: 'Happy Father's Day to my forever love! @Usainbolt, You are the rock of this family and the greatest dad to our little ones. without end! "

The 34-year-old Bolt, who obtained eight gold medals at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Games, will not play in the Covid-Delayed Olympics next years after retiring in 2017.

Bolt, the fastest man in history, holds the world record for 100 meters and 200 meters. He is the only sprinter to win the 100 and 200m doubles at three consecutive Olympic Games.

Bolt, who has won 23 prominent championship golds in a glittering career, tried to turn to professional football after his career ended. Still, he was unable to obtain a contract and retired from all sports in 2019.

"It was a great occurrence. I really appreciated just being in a team and it had to be different from track and field, and it was enjoyable while it remained," he stated at the time.
