Delhi gang rape convicts hanged, after 7 years of committing the crime

The four men convicted for the rape and homicide of a 23-yr-old girl in a moving bus in Delhi were hanged at 5:30 am on Friday, after seven years of commiting the brutal crime.
The bus’ cleaners Mukesh Singh and Akshay Thakur, fruit-seller Pawan Gupta and gym teacher Vinay Sharma have been hanged simultaneously inside Tihar Jail number 3, director-standard of police Sandeep Goel said.

The households of the convicts, meanwhile, stored pleading that the legal machine should show a few mercy and travel their demise sentences into life. Some own family members also claimed that these convicts are “innocent”. As the very last petition was rejected on Thursday, the wife of one of the convicts fainted outdoor the Delhi court.
The four convicts reached the President’s doorsteps multiple instances with requests for mercy, and filed petitions in Supreme Court in opposition to their conviction. But all of the petitions and reclaimed been rejected.
