Terry Baron’s VFS Immigration “NOT” authorized by Dominican government

After a European news agency, CCE News exposed the United Workers Party leader Lennox Linton, of lying about his connections with UAE businessman Terry Baron, social media was flooded with contradictions and blame game took its pace in the region. UWP supporters including its few candidates lambasted the allegations made by the news organisation and labelled it with current Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit.

Taking it on a serious note, WIC News correspondent digs the facts out of all rumours spread across the internet. Some of the UWP supporters are levelling accusations on DLP government of having ties with Terry Baron through his company (VFS Immigration) in Citizenship by Investment Programme.

Surprisingly, the company VFS Immigration is not authorised by Commonwealth of Dominica. Even the government also provides clear guidelines for applying through only authorised agents. “WARNING: Potential investors must ensure that they are only dealing with Authorised Agents, a list of which can be found on this page,” read Dominica government’s official CBI portal cbiu.gov.dm

So, the rumour about PM Skerrit having relations with Terry Baron is voided and it is just a waste of time. For a fraction of time, if it is to be believed that PM Skerrit was in a deal with the UAE businessman, he (Terry) would have been authorised agent of the CBI programme, but he is not. Seems like UWP want to divert the issue from answering other important questions. Anyone can go on the website of the cbiu.gov.dm and have access to the list of authorised agents.

Furthermore, in the thorough investigation, it was revealed that Terry Baron or any company by his name do not have any contract of development in the Commonwealth of Dominica. This gives greater clarity to the point that he does not have any ties with the current government.

According to CCE News sources, it was revealed that Lennox Linton and Terry Baron both are in under table contract with each other over land worth US $10 million deal for $1 million funding to Linton. Not only this by funding UWP’s campaign Lennox will give authorisation to Terry Baron’s company to deal in Dominica’s citizenship by investment programme.

Along with the alleged chats of Terry Baron by CCE, there was another unidentified person named Chris HP in the contact list of Lennox Linton and he (Linton) also denied of any contact with Chris as well over the local radio of Dominica, Q95 FM. But after the outburst of the public over the images with Terry Baron, UWP and its leader himself went on silent mode as none have made any statements over Chris HP. However, two candidates of UWP, Monell Williams and Hector John have indirectly agreed of pictures being real, not photoshopped and denied any connections with Terry. “Who paid to get this man to Dominica for May 19th” read Monnel Williams’ status on Facebook and “A man comes to our event & took pics with some candidates like everyone else and we know him?” read Hector John’s status on Facebook after CCE release.
