Citizenship by Investment Programme of Commonwealth of Dominica has been the "economic citizenship" leader for several years. Launched in 1993, it is the most transparent and efficient CBI across the world. The programme is not only building a nation, but it is assisting thousands of others in fulfilling their dreams.
The CBI Index 2021, published by Financial Times' PWM Magazine, has again awarded Dominica the "World's Number 1 CBI" tag for the fifth consecutive year. The index gives a detailed data-driven review of the world's Citizenship by Investment Programmes.

Currently, over fourteen countries across the Caribbean, Middle-East, Europe, and Asia are offering the Citizenship by Investment Programme; Dominica by, leaving behind all countries in the list, has once again held the top position. However, there is only one difference in the CBI Index 2021, where Dominica shares the top position with sister nation St Kitts and Nevis.
Dominica scored the best in all nine pillars of excellence established by the CBI Index 2021. The report emphasized that Dominica continue to be the most affordable and transparent CBI Programme, not to mention the biggest increase in visa-free and visa on arrival access in two years.

- Single applicant -USD 100,000
- Spouse of the main applicant - USD 50,000
- Siblings of the main applicant or of the spouse aged 18-25 - USD 50,000
- For every additional dependent (except the spouse of the foremost applicant and siblings of the main applicant or of the spouse aged 18-25)- USD 50,000
- The total costing for a family of four (excluding siblings of the main applicant or of the spouse) is USD 175,000
- Fee cost for a single applicant- USD 25,000
- Fee cost for a family with up to four members (the main applicant and up to 3 dependents, excluding a dependant sibling)- USD 35,000
- Larger families, with up to six members, including the main applicant and up to 5 dependents (excluding a dependant sibling)- USD 50,000
- Bigger families with up to seven members or more, consisting of the main applicant and at least six dependants- USD 70,000
- Siblings of the main applicant or of the spouse aged 18-25- USD 50,000
- Siblings of the main applicant or of the spouse aged under 18- USD 25,000
- Global Mobility: Citizenship by Investment Programme allow recipients to expand their boundaries and travel freely within 140 countries and territories.
- Full Citizen rights: All recipients of citizenship under the economic citizenship programme are entitled to full citizen rights, including the right to live, work, a study in the country, just like ordinary citizens.
- The ability to pass on citizenship: The major benefit remains to be the ability to pass on the citizenship to future generations.
- No residence requirements: Recipients are not required to remain in the country for a particular time after gaining the citizenship
- Dual Citizenship: Dominica does not require people to give up their previous citizenship, and dual citizenship is allowed.
- Only 90- days of processing: The standard processing time is only 90 days; it is among the swiftest programmes the world offers.
