Major Projects being developed in St Kitts and Nevis
Last year, the St Kitts Nevis Labour Party secured financing for a brand new climate smart hospital which will be constructed this year. PM Drew said that he aims to transform the delivery of quality healthcare services in the Federation.
While announcing the plan, he said that the country needs a smart hospital to move towards the Labour Party’s overall agenda of transforming into a Sustainable Island State. Notably, the construction of the new hospital will be a collaboration between the Government of St Kitts and Nevis and the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
In March 2024, the Government broke ground to construct two Solar-Powered Water Desalination Plants in the Canadian Industrial State. Upon completion, the plant will have the capacity to produce around 76000 gallons of water each day, which will be a huge relief for the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.[caption id="attachment_69528" align="aligncenter" width="100%"]
