Background of Roger Nyhus
Notably, before he was appointed the US Ambassador to the Eastern Caribbean, he had a career in promoting American Companies in different sectors relevant to the Eastern Caribbean. He worked in sustainability, energy, aviation, and tourism, as well as global health care, seafood and arts. The US Embassy in Barbados, while sharing the profile of the New Ambassador, added that he was previously the founder and CEO of Nyhus Communications, a Seattle-based communication, advocacy and marketing consultant.[embed]https://twitter.com/USEmbassyBtown/status/1745566385281900805[/embed]
As part of this role, he worked as an advisor to businesses and government leaders around the world, including CEOs of Fortune 500 companies. Growing up in a small village named Westport in Washington, he comes with strong values.
