Dominica: On arrival testing not mandatory for fully vaccinated people
As per the new protocols, on arrival, COVID-19 testing is no longer mandatory for those who are fully immunized against the coronavirus.

Roseau, Dominica: Dominica has issued new guidelines for fully vaccinated travellers to the country. As per the new protocols, on arrival, COVID-19 testing is no longer mandatory for those who are fully immunized against the coronavirus.
After being transported to the government-owned or safe in nature property for isolation, and RT-PCR test would be conducted on day 2 of isolation. If the RT-PCR results come negative, the traveller would be allowed to move freely around the island; however, in case of positive results, the visitor would be transported to the medical facility at their expenses.
The vaccinated travellers must submit a health questionnaire online at least 24 hours prior to arrival in Dominica at the government website, http://domcovid19.dominica.gov.dm/
The guidelines for non-vaccinated individuals remain the same, including a quarantine and day five testing at the isolation facility.
Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Irving McIntyre stated that the vaccines granted the Emergency Use Listing (EUL) the World Health Organization would be considered valid for entry into the country. The EUL certified vaccines include AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson&Johnson and the Sinopharm vaccine.
Additional guidelines
- Fully vaccinated travellers shall be transported to quarantine at a Government-operated quarantine facility or a managed experience at a Safe in Nature-certified property for a minimum of 2 days.
- Fully vaccinated travellers shall only utilize certified transportation.
- A PCR test will be administered to the fully vaccinated travellers on Day 2 after the arrival.
- A traveller must await the results at a Government operated quarantine facility or Safe in Nature-certified private property for up to 24 hours.
- If the PCR test is positive, the traveller will be admitted to the COVID isolation unit until released by an authorized Health Professional, and the hospital fees will apply.
- If the PCR test is negative, the traveller will be deemed medically cleared at the discretion of medical officials.
- Submit a health questionnaire online at least 24 hours prior to arrival in Dominica. Website at http://domcovid19.dominica.gov.dm/
- Upload a negative PCR test result from a swab taken within 24-72 hours prior to arrival.
- Upload vaccination certificate.
- If applicable, upload a medical record as proof of the previous infection of COVID-19.
- Travellers must present the following prior to boarding and upon disembarkation in Dominica:
- Negative PCR test result from a swab taken within 24-72 hours prior to arrival.
- Notification of health clearance to travel.
