Trinidad and Tobago: Naomi Sinnette crowned National Calypso Queen 2024
Naomi Sinnette emerged victorious and crowned as National Women's Action Committee's (NWAC) 2024 National Calypso Queen

The other winner secures the 2nd and 3rd Places, Curlissa Charles-Mapp of Kaiso Showkase and Kerine Williams-Figaro (Tiny) of Kaiso Karavan, respectively.
As per the information, the NWAC 2024 National Calypso Queen Concert was scheduled for January 21 and January 24 from 4 PM onwards under the theme, 'Beautiful, Colourful, Powerful... Queens of Calypso'. The concert featured over 15 great Calypsonians from across the nation.The 20-year-old Naomi Sinnette, the new National Calypso Queen 2024, showcased exceptional performances with her songs. "Them Advisers" showcased her musical prowess and artistic brilliance.
Graduating from the ranks of junior calypsonians, Naomi has demonstrated remarkable promise, exemplifying the vibrant future of calypso. Each participant displayed commendable talent, contributing to the event's overall success.
Naomi Sinnette, representing the Divas Calypso Cabaret International tent, has made her tent proud and brought honour to the entire Calypso community.
The host organisation, TUCO Trinidad and Tobago, extended their gratitude and congratulated the new Calypso queen, Naomi Sinnette, for giving remarkable performances. They also congratulated the other winners of the competition."We commend all the women who participated in the competition, as their commitment to calypso enriches our cultural heritage. May the spirit of calypso continue to thrive, and may these talented artists inspire generations to come," the TUCO Trinidad and Tobago community added.
Further, the Calypso Queen, Naomi Sinnette, was also grateful and delighted with her achievement. She also highlighted several people she is grateful for and thanked all her friends for encouraging and supporting her in this journey.
