PM Harris all set to discuss National budget with Accountant General

St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts-Nevis Government’s special show "Leadership Matters" virtual forum series is all set to air on Tuesday, October 20th, 2020, with Prime Minister of SKN Dr Timothy Harris headlining its 25th instalment on ZIZ TV from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Accompanying the Prime Minister on the panel and responding audience inquiries will be Accountant General for the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, Levi Bradshaw. The centre of conversation will be the National Budget as an instrument for delivering a stronger and safer future.
Tomorrow, Monday, October 19th, Prime Minister Harris is slated to preside over the first day of the 2021 Budget Estimates Committee Meetings, which are being held to settle the programmes and plans that the Federal Government will be executing in the new financial year.
The Budget preparation assemblages will see Prime Minister Harris, who is the Minister of Finance, and his Cabinet associates cooperate with high-level government executives and staff, including Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Departments and other important figures in the budget processing, such as Financial Secretary, Hilary Hazel and Accountant General, Levi Bradshaw.
Synergies will concentrate on analysing the budgetary requirements of each Ministry, as well as on allotting and prioritizing government spending in advance of the budget presentation and finalization in the Parliament. This week’s Estimates Committee Assemblages are scheduled to span 4 days.
