Dominica: Dr Irving McIntyre hosts Cardio Jam at Laudat

Minister of Health, Wellness and New Health Investment of Dominica, Dr Irving McIntyre hosted a cardio jam at Laudat on Saturday. He called the fitness practice an "exciting day".

The Cardio Jam was attended by numerous individuals seeking an escape from their busy lifestyles and taking a step towards a healthy lifestyle.

Dr McIntyre stated that an active lifestyle is surely one way to prevent illness and maintain wellness. He also thanked the Ministry of Tourism and the public for making these events a success. He stated that Roseau Valley is the wellness capital of Dominica.

"It was a time well spent at the freshwater lake in an ambience so refreshing and rejuvenating. Let's continue to stay active and build a healthy nation. The wellness capital of Dominica, the Roseau Valley, is always open to you." said the Health Minister.

Even last week, the Health Minister had hosted a cardio jam at the Trafalgar Falls parking, which was a huge success, with many coming forward to be part of the initiative.

Health Minister advised the public to engage in such activities and said it is the route to wellness. He said people of every age must do some activities such as cardio to remain healthy.
