Port of Spain, Trinidad: With the Opening of Tuco Carnival 2024, the 38th Annual Young King's Competition 2024 has all set its way to return to Trinidad on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Grand Stand, Queen's Park Savannah.The highly anticipated Young King's Carnival is presented by the National Action Cultural Committee (NACC). The event will be open for the Public appearance in the Evening from 7:30 onwards, with the ticket price of $200 per person. The NACC is a non-profit organisation with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and the Arts and the National Lotteries Control Board.The Carnival is a part of TUCO Carnival 2024, which will arrive in Trinidad and Tobago from January 13- February 11, 2024. It is organised in honour of the co-founder of Aiyegoro Ome. It will embark the visitors on an exciting adventure and provide them several opportunities to explore and entertain.

Reportedly, the official poster of the Carnival was launched online on Tuesday (January 2) via all major social media platforms by NACC. The Organisers have invited people and encouraged them to participate in the Festival and book their spaces as soon as possible.Notably, Last year, “Snakey” Charles walked away with the grand title of Young King 2023 and Kenroy “Black Prince” Smith was honoured for his contribution to the calypso industry.The 38th annual National Calypso Queen Competition under the Female Category will be held from Jan 21- 24, 2024, at Queens Hall from 4 PM. This Festival will be held under the theme, 'Beautiful, Colourful, Powerful Queens of Calypso. This event will be hosted in honour of Ella Andall, a Professional Caribbean Singer and songwriter.
