Trinidad and Tobago prepares for Calypso Fiesta 2024

Trinidad and Tobago is ready to embark on a fantastic musical journey with the opening of Calypso Fiesta 2024. The festival will be held on February 3, 2024, from 2 pm onwards in the Vibrany New Skinner Park, San Fernando.It is part of TUCO Carnival 2024, which is scheduled to commence in the twin-island nation from January 13, 2024, to February 11, 2024. The exciting Calypso Fiesta is being hosted by the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation (TUCO), a non-profit organisation representing over 600 Calypso practising artists.The event will be hosted under the theme, 'Reignite the Calypso Music' and will feature over 40 semi-finalists who will set the stage by showcasing their thrilling performances to compete for the grand title of National Calypso Monarch 2024. The tickets for the event have already been out for sale, and the date for the Early Bird tickets has been extended till January 8, 2024.The organisers have invited visitors across Trinidad and Tobago to come and experience the versatility and outstanding performances by the famous Calypsonians across the town and around the nation. The prices to avail the event are available at $250 for per person and the people are encouraged to book their spots as early for an unforgettable day of sweet calypso music.Notably, the organisers released the official poster of the Calypso Fiesta 2024 on Tuesday via all major social media platforms.
