St Kitts and Nevis: The registration for the highly anticipated St Kitts Agriculture Open Day 2024 has been opened officially.  Vendors can now secure their spots to make their good and services available to the hundreds of people visiting the event. The registration deadline is Monday, April 8, 2024. The event is being hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources on Thursday, February 25 and Friday, February 26, 2024. This significant agricultural event will take place at the Royal Basseterre Valley National Park. While inviting everyone to register themselves for the event, the Ministry said, "Registration is now open to all vendors and members of the public who are interested in securing their spot early at the highly anticipated 2024 edition of the Agriculture Open Day in St Kitts." According to the information, individuals who are interested can fill out the forms available at the Basseterre Public Market, Department of Agriculture, La Guerite, Department of Marine Resources, the Tabernacle and Fahies Outreach Centres and the Ministry of Agriculture, Building #16 Port Zante, St Kitts. In addition to this, people are also asked to send an email to moa@gov.kn or contact the Ministry of Agriculture at 467-1016 for further information. This annual festival turns out a huge success every year as hundreds of citizens and residents visit the site to patronize the event and support the local farmers, fishers and agro-processors.  The two-day event showcases the best local produce and products from the agriculture and fisheries sector. Several exciting things are also part of the Agriculture Open Day, including the Watermelon eating competition, horseback riding, lots of games and much more.  Meanwhile, the Minister of Agriculture, Samal Duggins will also be addressing the attendees on the first day of the event.  Visitors can get various items on sale during these two days including the fresh produce, agro-processed goods, local meats, fresh fish, seafood and much more. People can also enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.  The event gives an ideal location to the vendors interested in selling their products and making them reach people islandwide, which is why the Ministry is urging individuals to reserve their spots at the earliest.
