Prime Minister of Jamaica Andrew Holness toured the sections of the Greater Bernard Lodge Development project in the Bernard Lodge and Innswood area of St. Catherine on Saturday.

He stated that the master plan would improve several areas of infrastructure including, road rehabilitation in the Greater Portmore Area. The development will also see 15,000-16,000 housing solutions and 1,300 acres of land reserved for small and medium-size farmers.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness stated that such developments signal the confidence that investors have in the economy and will increasingly propel us towards the vision of making Jamaica the place of choice to live, work, raise families, do business and retire in paradise.The Greater Bernard Lodge Development Master Plan is a long-term plan to support future population extension in the Kingston Metropolitan area
