Nigerian Billionaire Aisha Achiumugu donates school supplies to kids in Grenada

Aisha Achiumugu, a Nigerian Grenada Resident, donated 250 backpacks and school supplies to Grenada's students on Monday.

Nigerian billionaire businesswoman Aisha Achiumugu who is currently in Grenada to celebrate her 50th birthday donated several schools supplies to students on the island. She was accompanied by Elvis Morain- Parliamentary representative for this initiative. Aisha Achiumugu who is also a renowned philanthropist in Africa will also be funding five scholarships in Grenada. Notably, she is also the founder and managing director of Sam Empowerment Foundation in Nigeria.

As per reports, she is a PhD Scholar and a recent Nigeria and Grenada CBI (Citizenship by Investment) resident. She landed in Grenada a few days back to celebrate her 50th Golden Jubilee birthday and the nation's 50th Independence and complete her citizenship process.

She is also a Managing Director and CEO of Felak Concept Group. Her areas of philanthropic interest lie in Education and women's empowerment. On Monday, Elvis Morain, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, also responsible for Human Resources and Educational Development, journeyed to the privately owned Calivigny Island in Grenada to join Achiumugu and receive donations.

The New Grenada Resident Achiumugu was also grateful to contribute to the nation. She also thanked the delegations present and was overwhelmed by their warm hospitality. She said she feels very comfortable in Grenada and praised the warm hospitality. Considering her Education, she attended Federal Government Girls Science School, Kuje, Abuja and transited to the University of Jos, Nigeria, where she acquired a B.Sc in Accountancy in 1998. The Commonwealth University, Belize, awarded her an Honorary Doctorate Degree. She is happily married to Engr. Sulaiman Akao Achimugu is blessed with three children.
