Nevis welcomes resumption of Winair flights, commencing March 15

According to the NTA, this renewed service highlights the airline’s dedication and commitment to support the travel industry in Nevis.
Winair is a regional airline of the Caribbean and is based in Sint Maarten. The airline company has been a leader in regional air transportation for a number of years. With a commitment to reliability, safety and customer satisfaction, Winair continues to play an important role in connecting the Caribbean. In addition to this, the airline is offering an introductory rate at USD 115 plus tax on one way to mark the recommencement of flights between Sint Maarten and Nevis. This offer will be available from March 15 to June 15, 2024 and travellers can book their flights through this link https://www.winair.sx/.The airline also announced the schedule of flights which will fly on every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. As per the company, on Friday, the flight will depart from Sint Maarten at 18 20 and will arrive in Nevis at 18 55. The same schedule of departure and arrival from Sint Maarten to Nevis will be followed on Saturdays and Sundays.
On the other hand, the return flight from Nevis to Sint Maarten will fly on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. This flight will depart at 8:00 and will arrive at 8:40.
Several citizens and residents also lauded the return of Winair flights with some taking to Facebook to express their views.“Not having regular air service to Nevis has been a huge disservice to the locals as well as a big hit to the tourism industry. Return of Winair is very welcome and too long overdue,” wrote a user named Regan Lee while another user said, “Let's pray for more, although such is welcoming Nevis need to tell the world that we open for business.”
