Nevis Tourism Ambassador Nikeva Stapleton performs exceptionally at Grammys 2024

The Tourism Ambassador of Nevis, Nikeva Stapleton, took center stage with American singer Fantasia at the Grammy Awards held on Sunday, February 4 in Los Angeles. She danced the night away while adding her vibrant energy and charm.

Nikeva is an actor, dancer and model and currently resides in Los Angeles. She is a proud Nevisian raised in Chicago and has been a Tourism Ambassador for the beautiful island of Nevis, showcasing its tourism offerings.

The glimpses of her recent performance at the Grammy's were shared by the Nevis Tourism Authority, which said, "Captivating Nevisian spirit takes centre stage at the Grammy Awards." It was her first Grammy performance.

The Authority has always lauded her for the wonderful work she has been doing since so many years and is proud to have as the Tourism Ambassador.

The actor visits Nevis from time to time and especially at famous festivals such as Culturama or beauty pageants.

Stapleton also took to Facebook to express her pride to be on the stage of Grammy's. She said, " I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of this epic moment as my first Grammy performance! this unexpected turn in my week was a major blessing I never saw coming… just wow.

Nikeva's dance expertise has always left its mark at iconic venues, including the Metropolitan Opera and Jubilee in Vegas. She also appeared on TV shows such as Today Show and America’s Got Talent and has always shown her versatility.

The actor has also danced in music videos for legends like David Bowie and Beyoncé's "Blackstar" and "Spirit" in Black is King. In addition to this, she performed live with A-listers like Jennifer Lopez and the unforgettable "Formation" Super Bowl halftime show with Beyoncé, which underscored her remarkable journey.

Her acting roles span from BET’s American Soul, Spike Lee’s Chiraq, BlacKKKlansman, Netflix’s She’s Gotta Have It, and Marlon Wayans’ film Naked.⁠

Notably, Nikeva Stapleton is also a face for major international brands such as MAC, Balenciaga, Athleta, Adidas, Nike and more. She is passionate about her Caribbean heritage and proudly represents Nevis as a citizen, with her family ties throughout the West Indies. Every year, she joins Culturama festivities in colourful attires, showcasing what the island has to offer.
