Minister Denise Charles represents Dominica at prestigious Routes Americas 2024 conference

The participation of Dominica showcases the country’s commitment to boost strategic ties and will give the nation a chance to explore opportunities to boost air access which is a significant component of its tourism sector.
While talking about the event, Minister Charles said that this is the 3rd time that the Ministry is participating in the conference. She added that her earlier engagements have led to major enhancements including the Douglas Charles Airport runway improvement and showcases to the airline partners and stakeholders that the country is serious about its development and future prospects. Charles further outlined, “As we continue to build on established connections and forge new ones, our main focus is on creating a sustainable, enriching and accessible experience for all who visit the Nature Isle’s shores.”According to her, the Ministry’s dedication to relationship-building is the cornerstone of the success and will push the country towards even greater achievements as the country continues to invest in the new international airport as well as various other initiatives.
The delegation of Dominica to this prestigious conference in Bogota includes Minister of Tourism Denise Charles; CEO of Dominica Air and Seaport Authority, Benoit Bardoille; CEO of Dominica’s International Airport Development Company, Samuel Johnson; Communications and Public Relations Specialist for Discover Dominica Authority Monelle Alexis and Miss Dominica 2024 Kyanna Dyer.
