Dominica to welcome over 14000 passengers this week

These cruises will be docked at different ports, with most of the passengers disembarking to explore the island nation.

MSC Seaside docked in Dominica on Monday

Dominica is all set to welcome more than 14000 passengers this week, of which around 5600 arrived on Monday onboard two cruises, Le Bellot and MSC Seaside. The island will welcome six more cruises till February 17, 2024.

These cruises will be docked at different ports, with most of the passengers disembarking to explore the island nation.

The luxurious cruise MSC Seaside, which docked at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth brought 1998 passengers, while Le Bellot docked at the Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth and brought 184 passengers. On February 14, MV Explorer of the Seas will arrive in Dominica with 1998 passengers and will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth.

On the following day, MV Mein Schiff 4 will arrive at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth with 2506 passengers, MV Seabourn Ovation will dock at the Woodbridge Bay Berth with 600 passengers, and MV Braemar will dock at ANCH with 750 passengers.

In addition to this, on February 16, the Commonwealth of Dominica will welcome two cruises MV Carnival Venezia and MSV Club Med 2.

The Cruise Line Schedule for Dominica from February 14 to 17 is as follows:

February 14 - MV Explorer of the Seas will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth (Passenger Capacity - 1998) February 15 - MV Mein Schiff 4 will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth (Passenger Capacity - 2506) February 15 - MV Seabourn Ovation will dock at the Woodbridge Bay Berth (Passenger Capacity - 600) February 15 - MV Braemar will dock at ANCH (Passenger Capacity - 750) February 16 - MV Carnival Venezia will dock at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth (Passenger Capacity - 2980) February 16 - MSV Club Med 2 will dock at ANCH/Cabrits Cruise Ship Berth (Passenger Capacity - 312)

Notably, the island is witnessing a thriving cruise season 2023-2024, with more than 100 cruise vessels having already visited, bringing hundreds and thousands of passengers.

Dominica has also received inaugural visits from eleven (11) distinguished and luxury vessels, such as MSC Explora 1, Le Bellot, MV Aida Mar, MV Marella Voyager, MS Vista, MS Borealis, MV Celebrity Beyond, SY Sea Cloud Spirit, MV Carnival Venezia, MV Costa Fortuna and MV Azzurra.
