The Colombian woman was recently arrested at Panama's Tocumen International Airport for stitching 68 black cylinders containing a white powder that looked like cocaine within her hair weave or wig.
According to Rodrguez, the woman was travelling from Colombia to Spain when Panama authorities discovered "irregularities" in her haircut.
Authorities discovered the 68 sachets of a substance suspected to be cocaine after scanning her hair and afterwards chopping through her weave. The man sat calmly while Panama authorities removed the cylinders one by one on an online video.
Rodrguez stated that this form of alleged drug smuggling was a "first" for Panama while commenting on the arrest. The Colombian woman was arrested and charged with international drug trafficking as a result of the incidents.
Sources later claimed that another Colombian woman attempted to carry over 60 cylinders of an unknown drug using the same manner.Latest
