Barbados ranked as #1 salary-paying Caribbean country
Pay Pulse 2023, has ranked Barbados as the top Caribbean nation with above-market pay grades in thelatest Caribbean Salary Survey Report

According to the information, of the 30 jobs surveyed across various roles spreading throughout the financial, communications, administrative, legal, information technology and other industries, roles including chief operating officer, financial analyst and chief executive officer were found to be the top paying.
It was said that these jobs have an average annual basic salary ranging between US$91,000 and US$140,000.
In addition to this, date from the survey also showcased to these roles often needing the highest level of education.
On the other side, positions such as dispatcher, front desk agent and lineman were among the ones which were listed as the lowest paid and having basic annual salaries which range between US$11,000 to US$14,500.The October 2023 study, which was conducted by the CSHRP, comes as not only a regional databank on wages but also provides a comprehensive exploration of salary and hiring practices within the region and across surrounding territories. The findings aim to be used as a benchmark for assessing compensation fairness.
Being listed as the top Caribbean country having the above market pay grades, it is a huge development for Barbados showing that it respects and honors the work of everyone.
