Statue of Unity finds place in '8 Wonders of SCO'
The 182-meter tall Statue of Unity in Gujarat has remembered for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's '8 Wonders of SCO' list, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar reported on Monday.
Taking to Twitter, Jaishankar valued the SCO's endeavours towards advancing the travel industry among part countries and declared that the statue's incorporation in the rundown would "unquestionably fill in as a motivation".
"Valued the #SCO's endeavours to advance the travel industry among part states. The "8 Wonders of SCO", which incorporates the #StatueofUnity, will most likely fill in as a motivation," Jaishankar tweeted.
The 'Statue of Unity', the world's tallest statue, is a momentous tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, free India's first home clergyman just as appointee PM.
The statue was introduced in October 2018 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the event of Patel's 143rd birth commemoration.
