Due to the massive outburst of coronavirus in the United Kingdom, only 30 people are expected to attend His Royal Highness Prince Philip's funeral, who died on Friday morning.

A Downing Street spokesman revealed, "As a result of the coronavirus regulations, only 30 people can attend the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

In normal conditions, there would be higher than 800 visitors from around the globe attending, but coronavirus limitations imply that only 30 people can attend the funeral of Prince Philip on Saturday, April 17.

As per sources, Prime Minister of the UK Boris Johnson already showed himself out to let more royal family members be part of the last rights of Prince Philip.

The ceremony is scheduled to take place at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry, is also not expected to attend the funeral because of a doctor's advice as she is expecting her second child. There are speculations that Prince Harry was seen at the Heathrow airport and have already arrived to attend his grandfather's funeral.

It seems like history is repeating itself when the former King George VI left his royal duties for his American lover. On King George VII's death, his brother attended the funeral services all alone as his wife refused to join him.
