At least 26 members of pro-government militia killed by Taliban militants
Taliban militants on Saturday killed at least 26 members of a pro-government militia in the Baghlan province in north Afghanistan, government officials say.
The incident occurred on the same day the militants and US government officials are due to start a new round of peace talks in Qatar.
Taliban officials claimed responsibility for the attack on the militiamen, but said their fighters had killed 28 and wounded 12.
