Italy announces another lockdown, starting from 24 December

Italy has once again announced to impose a lockdown on the entire country in the coming festive season. However, in view of festivals, some relaxation has also been given to people in lockdown. This lockdown is currently imposed from December 24 to January 6.

Italy has once again announced to impose a lockdown on the entire country in the coming festive season. However, in view of festivals, some relaxation has also been given to people in lockdown. This lockdown is currently imposed from December 24 to January 6.

Between the lockdown, people are allowed to invite not more than two guests to their homes on Christmas and New Year with the condition that the guests will have to return home before the curfew starts at 10 p.m.

Lockdown will remain from 24 December to 6 January

In a press conference, Italy's Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced a lockdown in the country once again. He said "We have adopted Decree-Law in association with Council of Ministers. From December 24 to January 6, the entire country should be considered as a Red Zone. During this time, the movement will be closed in all areas. This step is being taken, so the coronavirus infection does not spread to more people.
