Ira Maynard charged with murder of Devis Manners

St Kitts and Nevis police have formally charged a man for the murder of a 58-year-old Devis Manners of Pitcairn Street, New Town.

The accused has been identified as Ira Maynard.

On Saturday, St Kitts and Nevis Police said in a statement that an autopsy was performed by a resident pathologist, Dr Adrian Nunez-Quintana on Friday, which concluded that "victim Devis died of hemorrhagic shock due to a stab wound to the chest."

Manners was found from his house in Pitcarin Street with multiple stab wounds.
